Job Description

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Office of Grants and is located on the JWCC campus in Quincy, Illinois.  Position begins immediately.

 

This position is responsible for facilitating the acquisition, management, and reporting of grants and funding opportunities that enable the college to expand its educational programs and community outreach efforts.  The Grant Coordinator collaborates with many college departments and community partners to ensure successful grant applications and compliance with grant requirements.  Key responsibilities include grant identification and research, grant writing, grant submission and tracking, grant compliance and reporting, and community engagement.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in English, communications, creative writing, or related area required.  Experience in grant writing preferred.
